January 28, 2026 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Council Member Weir commented on her attendance at the Historic Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader commented on his attendance at the Council of Neighborhoods meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne commented on her attendance at Housing and Homeless Advocacy Day <br />in Olympia. She stated she joined the point-in-time count with Snohomish County on Tuesday <br />and commented on her attendance at the Public Facilities District meeting. <br /> <br />President Schwab also thanked the Mayor for her comments. He also commented on the newly <br />opened Permit Services on Floor 2 of the Everett Municipal Building. He also stated the Council <br />retreat is January 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Weyerhaeuser Room at Everett Station. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Senior Executive Director Dan Templeman had no comments. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />Deputy City Attorney Ramsey Ramerman had no comments. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8257 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$6,284,689.38 for the period of January 10, 2026, through January 16, 2026. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – PAYROLL CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8258 authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br />amount of $6,004,125.43 for the period ending January 10, 2026. <br /> <br />DONATION – FUND FOR THE ANIMALS <br /> <br />To approve the Mayor’s acceptance of a donation from the Judith and Stanley Hoffberger <br />Family Foundation in the amount of $20,000 into the Fund for the Animals.
