• ORDINANCE NO. 2514-01 AN ORDINANCE creating a special park improvement project entitled "Kasch Park Soccer Field Artificial Turf Project", Fund 354, Program 017,to accumulate and appropriate all costs for the capital improvement project. WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned parks capital improvement program as a part of the City of Everett Parks &Recreation Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett is requesting fund approval for the utilization of Capital Improvement Program 5 for the design and park planning needs, preliminary engineering, design and development, and construction costs of artificial turf, and other improvement at Kasch Park; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 354, Program 017, entitled "Kasch Park Soccer Field Artificial Turf Project" to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 354, Program 017, for the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Parks and Recreation Director",under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of$1,500,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 017, "Kasch Park Soccer Field Artificial Turf Project", as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Preliminary Engineering , Design and Construction Costs—Turf Installation $ 1,800,000 Total Estimated Cost $ 1,800,000
