ORDINANCA No. \ An ordinance providing for the improvement of Hoyt Avenue from Hewitt Avenue to Forty-first Street, by the removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, construction of concrete curbs, gutters , cement walks , cement alley crossings , necessary sewers , sewer extensions , complete drainage system, paving, installation of fire hydrants , doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with Resolution No. 2084 of the city of Averett, creating a local improvement district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor, and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessments on the property in said district under the mode of 'Payment by Bonds' . THig CITY OF AVVRI TT DOii S ORDAIN: " Section 1: That Hoyt Avenue from Hewitt Avenue to Forty- first Street be improved by removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, construction of concrete curb, gutters, cement walks, cement alley crossings, necessary sewers , sewer extensions, complete drain» age system, paving, installation of fire hydrants , and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, such improvement to be made according to the plans and specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the city engineer and now on file in the office of the city engineer, which plans and specifi- cations are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including all necessary and incidental expenses , shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district hereafter created in accordance with law. The city of Averett shall not be liable in any manner for the cost and expense of such improve» ment.
