ORDINANCE NO. 2515-01 AN ORDINANCE amending Section 4 of Ordinance 2454-00 increasing the total estimated cost and appropriation for the special park improvement project entitled "Legion Park Ball Field Renovation Project", Fund 354, Program 001, authorizing the design and construction of the capital improvement project at Legion Park Ball Field. WHEREAS, Ordinance 2454-00 was created to fund the design and construction of the Legion Park Ball Field Renovation project funded by the City of Everett Capital Improvement Program 5; and WHERAS, the City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department has received contributions from an Everett resident and North Everett Little League dedicated to Legion Park Ball Field Renovation Project, and WHEREAS, the City of Everett is requesting approval of additional fund for the utilization of Capital Improvement Program 5 for the renovation of the drainage and irrigation systems, replacement of back-stops, dug-outs and fencing, installation of the new ball field lighting system at Legion Park and other improvements at Legion Park; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 4 of Ordinance 2454-00 which reads, as follows: The sum of$600,000 is-hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 001, " Legion Park Ball Field Renovation Project", as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Preliminary Engineering, Design And Construction Costs $ 600,000 Total Estimated Cost $ 600,000 B. Source of Funds Fund 162 - Capital Project Reserve Fund $ 400,000 Private Contribution - Phil Johnson $ 200,000 Total Estimated Funds $ 600,000 C. This appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward from year to year until fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned without the necessity of re-appropriation.
