ORDINANCE NO. 2515-01 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 4 of Ordinance 2454-00 <br /> increasing the total estimated cost and appropriation for the special <br /> park improvement project entitled "Legion Park Ball Field <br /> Renovation Project", Fund 354, Program 001, authorizing the <br /> design and construction of the capital improvement project at <br /> Legion Park Ball Field. <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance 2454-00 was created to fund the design and construction of the <br /> Legion Park Ball Field Renovation project funded by the City of Everett Capital <br /> Improvement Program 5; and <br /> WHERAS, the City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department has received contributions <br /> from an Everett resident and North Everett Little League dedicated to Legion Park Ball <br /> Field Renovation Project, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is requesting approval of additional fund for the utilization <br /> of Capital Improvement Program 5 for the renovation of the drainage and irrigation <br /> systems, replacement of back-stops, dug-outs and fencing, installation of the new ball field <br /> lighting system at Legion Park and other improvements at Legion Park; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> That Section 4 of Ordinance 2454-00 which reads, as follows: <br /> The sum of$600,000 is-hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 001, " Legion Park Ball <br /> Field Renovation Project", as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Preliminary Engineering, Design <br /> And Construction Costs $ 600,000 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 600,000 <br /> B. Source of Funds <br /> Fund 162 - Capital Project Reserve Fund $ 400,000 <br /> Private Contribution - Phil Johnson $ 200,000 <br /> Total Estimated Funds $ 600,000 <br /> C. This appropriation shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward from year to <br /> year until fully expended or the purpose has been accomplished or abandoned <br /> without the necessity of re-appropriation. <br />
