City of Everett Everett Station HVAC and Controls Improvements 00 21 13 - 1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />00 21 13 - 1 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br />SECTION 00 21 13 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br />1-00 INTRODUCTORY MATTERS <br />General Description and Location of Project <br />The Work to be performed will include furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to <br />perform all Work as required by the Contract in accordance with the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />The Project is located at Everett Station, 3201 Smith Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. <br />Project Manager <br />Questions and inquiries about these Contract Documents should be directed to the attention of <br />Joan Olsen, City of Everett Project Manager at 425.257.6294 or email jolsen@everettwa.gov. <br /> <br />Apprentice Utilization <br />If this Project is subject to apprentice utilization requirements, then the requirements will be <br />contained in SECTION 00 73 73 APPRENTICE UTILIZATION. If there is no SECTION 00 73 73 <br />APPRENTICE UTILIZATION in the bid package, then the Project is not subject to apprentice <br />utilization requirements. Bidders are advised to examine and to be thoroughly familiar with these <br />requirements. No claim for additional compensation will be allowed that is based upon a lack of <br />knowledge of these requirements. <br /> <br />Standard Specifications <br />The following other Specifications and Standard Plans shall apply only to the extent that they <br />are called out in the Contract Documents. <br />• WSDOT “2025 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction”, <br />hereinafter referred to as the “Standard Specifications.” <br />• City of Everett “Design and Construction Standards and Specifications” (Revised January <br />2018), as found online on the City’s Website at: https://everettwa.gov/1531/Design- <br />Construction-Standards <br />• “Standard Plans for Road and Bridge Construction,” latest edition as prepared by WSDOT. <br />• “Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices” (MUTCD), latest edition. <br />• APWA Standards, latest edition. <br />• AWWA Standards, latest edition. <br />• American Concrete Institute (ACI), latest edition <br />1-01 DEFINITIONS AND TERMS <br />1-01.3 Definitions <br />Definitions are found in SECTION 72 00 GENERAL CONDITIONS.
