City of Everett Everett Station HVAC and Controls & Improvements 00 11 13 - 1 <br /> <br /> <br />00 11 13 - 1 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 00 11 13 - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the EVERETT STATION HVAC AND CONTROLS <br />IMPROVEMENTS – PROJECT #24-3201 will be received the City Clerk, Monday – Friday from <br />8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at 2930 Wetmore Ave, Everett, Washington 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on <br />December 23, 2025. At the appointed time, all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud via <br />live streaming only. The link to watch the bid opening will be accessible from <br />http://www.everettwa.gov/319/Purchasing. If you have any questions about logging into the live <br />streaming bid opening, call (425) 257-8903. <br />The Engineer’s estimate for this Project is $1,400,000.00. <br />Work being performed includes, but not limited to the replacement of the DDC building controller, <br />VAV controllers, thermostats, and connecting infrastructure. Also includes replacement of the <br />Three (3) existing rooftop McQuay VAV air handlers. Includes replacement of hydronic control <br />valves at the air handlers and re-balancing of the air and hydronic systems. <br />The project is funded by a Federal Transit Administration Grant and has specific project and <br />reporting requirements as noted in later sections and Appendix A – 2025 FTA Grant Clauses and <br />Certification Forms. <br />A Mandatory pre-bid walk-through is scheduled onsite at Everett Station, 3201 Smith Avenue, <br />Everett, WA 98201 at 10:00 a.m. November 18, 2025, or a second opportunity at 10:00 a.m. <br />November 20, 2025, Any interested bidders may attend. It is mandatory for all bidder’s to have <br />attended one pre-bid walk-through. Any questions and/or answers that may affect the bid will be <br />included in an addendum to the bid documents and sent to all the planholders. <br />Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) <br />is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and <br />clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Everett". This online plan room <br />provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order <br />full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off <br />tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification <br />of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do <br />not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the <br />on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington <br />at (425) 258-1303 should you require assistance with access or registration. <br />All bids must be made upon the City forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied <br />by a bid bond or certified check or cashier’s check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) <br />of the total amount of the Bid, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. One hundred (100) <br />percent payment and performance Bonds will be required of the successful Bidder to guarantee <br />faithful performance of the contract. <br />The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. <br />No Bidder may withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof.
