The presence of patches of missing sheetrock throughout the interior of <br /> the structure is a violation of International Property Maintenance Code <br /> (IPMC)305.1,which reads: <br /> IPMC 305.1 General <br /> The interior of a structure and equipment therein shall be maintained in good <br /> repair,structurally sound and in a sanitary condition. Occupants shall keep <br /> that part of the structure that they occupy or control in a clean and sanitary <br /> condition. Every owner of a structure containing a rooming house, <br /> housekeeping units, a hotel, a dormitory, two or more dwelling units or two or <br /> more nonresidential occupancies, shall maintain, in a clean and sanitary <br /> condition, the shared or public areas of the structure and exterior property. <br /> 17. An accumulation of garbage and items within the interior and around the <br /> exterior of the structure is a violation of International Property <br /> Maintenance Code(IPMC)308.1 and 308.3,which reads: <br /> IPMC 308.1 Accumulation of rubbish or garbage <br /> All exterior property and premises, and the interior of every structure,shall be <br /> free from any accumulation of rubbish or garbage. <br /> IPMC 308.3 Disposal of garbage <br /> Every occupant of a structure shall dispose of garbage in a clean and sanitary <br /> manner by placing such garbage in an approved garbage disposal facility or <br /> approved garbage containers. <br /> Corrective Action(s) By February 20,2026 <br /> Required and <br /> Compliance • The residential structure on the property must be vacant and all <br /> Schedule for means of entry into the structure must be effectively boarded to <br /> Corrective Action(s) prevent trespass.The structure must remain vacant and effectively <br /> boarded until occupancy is approved by the City of Everett Building <br /> Division. <br /> • Properly remove all exterior accumulations of junk,trash and other <br /> discarded items on the property. Items you wish to keep must be <br /> stored in an enclosed area out of public or neighboring view. <br /> By January 25,2027 <br /> Obtain required permits necessary to correct all violations. <br /> • Submit complete permit applications to City of Everett Permit <br /> Services for all the necessary and required permits to correct all of <br /> the violations cited above.
