1 <br /> Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation, who shall <br /> violate any of the terms or provisions of this ordinance shall be <br /> deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be <br /> subject to a fine not exceeding the sum of twenty-five ( 25) dollars , <br /> or imprisonment for a period not exceeding ten (10) days for each <br /> offense, and each day that any person, firm or corporation shall <br /> keep any billiard, pool or pigeon-hole table, or ten pin alley, for <br /> hire, without having first obtained a license therefor, shall be <br /> deemed to be a separate offense under this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: Persons desiring such license shall make <br /> written application therefor to the city council, stating the place <br /> where the business is to be carried on, the name and address of <br /> applicant, or if applicant is a firm or corporation the name and <br /> address of members thereof, together with a statement of the businesses <br /> or occupations and addresses of such person or persons for six <br /> months proceeding such application. <br /> Section 5: Before granting such license, the city council <br /> may investigate the habits and character of applicant, and may for <br /> any unfitness of applicant, or for public policy, refuse to issue <br /> such license. <br /> Section 6: Any such license may be revoked at any time <br /> by the city council, when, in its opinion, any place conducted under <br /> such license is being conducted in a disorderly or improper manner, <br /> or in a manner not conducive to peace and good order in the city, or <br /> when the holder thereof has violated any of the provisions of this <br /> ordinance or any ordinance relating to pool rooms and similar busi- <br /> nesses hereby licensed. In case of revocation of license , the <br /> unearned portion of the license fee paid shall be forfeited to the <br /> c i ty. <br /> Section 7: That Ordinance No. 42, and all ordinances and <br /> parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, be, and the same hereby <br />
