February 25, 2026 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – VACATION IN BLOCK 6A, PLAT OF LAUREL HEIGHTS ADJACENT TO 1810 52ND ST SE <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Bader, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 8276 setting April 22, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. as the date and time to hear and determine the <br />petition for the proposed vacation of the northern portion of the alley located in Block 6A, Plat <br />of Laurel Heights lying adjacent to 1810 52nd Street SE. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader asked about reviewing other alleys for vacation. Kimberley Moore, Parks <br />and Facilities, stated Real Property would look into other possible vacations. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Tuohy who was <br />excused. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - EVERETT TRANSIT LONG RANGE PLAN <br /> <br />President Schwab opened the public hearing regarding the Everett Transit Long Range Plan, <br />Connecting Everett in 2045. <br /> <br />Mike Schmieder and Sabina Araya, Transit, presented the draft Everett Transit Long Range Plan. <br /> <br />There were no members of the public who spoke: <br /> <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Tuohy who was <br />excused. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />The City Council meeting adjourned at 1:19 p.m. <br /> <br />
