Visit the City's online Permitting <br />Portal at https://onlinepermits.everettwa.gov to formally request all required inspections. Available inspection dates are <br />shown in the dropdown menu. <br />APPROVED PLANS TO REMAIN ON SITE <br />Approved plans must remain on job site at all times. All work shall be constructed per the plans approved by the City of <br />Everett Permit Services. <br />CALL BEFORE YOU DIG <br />Call Location Underground Service 48 hours before you dig. The day you call does not count. TOLL FREE NUMBER 811. <br />FENCE STANDARDS <br />Fence height, material, transparency, and location shall comply with all standards set forth in EMC 19.40. <br />FENCE HEIGHT FRONTAGE <br />The fence shall be no greater than 3-6 (42) in height within the front setback or the abutting right-of-way (shortest <br />property frontage, unless otherwise noted or previously determined). <br />FENCE HEIGHT INTERIOR <br />The fence shall be not greater than 6 feet in height within the street side setback or the abutting right-of-way and no <br />greater than 7 feet in height within the interior side or rear setback. <br />FENCE PROTECT UTILITIES <br />Protect all existing underground utilities during construction. Fence posts shall be at least 2ft away from any <br />underground utility. Water meters shall remain outside of fenced areas to be kept clear and accessible for maintenance <br />and monthly meter reading. <br />FENCE ROW CONDITIONAL USE <br />This fence constructed within the public right-of-way must be removed or relocated at the owners expense if the City <br />ever requires use of the right-of-way for municipal purposes. <br />REPLACE DAMAGED IMPROVEMENTS <br />Any damage to City improvements (sidewalk, curb, roadway, etc.) shall be replaced per City Standards and/or as directed <br />by the City PW Inspector. <br />PW SITE FINAL <br />This permit must be finaled in order to close out this permit/grant a Certificate of Occupancy. Request a final inspection <br />online by selecting PW 25-Site Final/Permit Close Out within the Online Permitting Portal Inspection Requests when all <br />items have been completed for this permit. <br />ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF CONDITIONS <br />By purchasing this permit and commencing work, the owner/applicant hereby agrees to hold and save harmless the City of Everett from any and all claims for <br />damages, costs, expenses, or causes of action that may arise because of installation and maintenance of the improvement or other right-of-way use here to <br />applied for and further agrees to remove same upon notice from the City and to replace public property damaged thereby. <br />VALIDITY/EXPIRATION: <br />Work authorized by this permit must be started within 180 days of date permit is issued and thereafter is to be diligently pursued to completion. This permit <br />may be canceled by the city upon any stoppage of work on this project over 180-day duration.
