ORDINANCE NO. \Z ') • An ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and assessment roll of "Local Immprovement No . 298" for the improvement of Federal Street from the south line of Thirty-fifth Street to the north line of Pacific College Association's tract, by clearing and grubbing, complete drainage system, grading to proper grade, plank curb and gutter, plank walks, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, under Ordinance No. 1571, and levying an assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land as shown on said roll, fixing a date for the issuance of bonds, and. providing for the issuance .of bonds. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of "Local Improvement District No. 298a, for the improvement of Federal Street from the south line of Thirty-fifth Street to the north line of Pacific College Association' s tract, by clearing and grubbing, com- plete drainage system, grading to proper grade, plank curb and gutter, plank walks, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, under Ordinance No. 1571 as the same now stands, be, and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land, or other property shown on said roll, is hereby declared to be specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said roll, and there is hereby levied an assessment against each lot, tract and parcel of land and other property appearing upon said roll the amount finally charged against the same thereon.
