City records <br /> indicated the last approved use of the structure(year 1985)was a Single-Family residence,with one <br /> roomer,and storage use only in the basement.The inspection in October 2022 revealed the structure <br /> had been altered to create two additional dwelling units without required permits and approvals.The <br /> owner was present and described the vacant basement unit as Unit#1,the southern unit on the main <br /> floor as#2,and the northern unit on the main floor as Unit#3. Each unit had a separate entry, kitchen, <br /> bathroom, living room,and sleeping room.The primary electrical panel was in the attached garage,with <br /> a subpanel in Unit 1,and a second subpanel controlling both Units 2&3 was in Unit 3.Two hot water <br /> heaters were installed in a non-compliant manner and the owner confirmed a large portion of the roof, <br /> and associated plywood, had recently been replaced.The property was occupied by tenants. <br /> A search of permit history on January 14, 2025, revealed the owner gained some permits in year 2023 <br /> but the permits have not gained inspection approvals,and the property remains unlawful. <br /> Notice and Order Page 1 of 4 <br />
