• • ORDINANCE NO. \Z r\r1 An ordinance providing for the improvement of Chestnut Street from Hewitt Avenue to Averett Avenue by removal of old lumber, sub-grading, construction of cement walks, concrete curb and gutter, complete drainage system, paving with asphalt upon a suitable concrete base, installation of fire hydrants; and for the improvement of Chestnut Street from .dverett Avenue to Twenty-third Street by clearing and grubbing, removal of old lumber, grading, construction of cement walks, curb, gutter, plank cross walks, complete drainage system, installation of fire hydrants, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with Resolution No. 2059 of the city of . verett, creating a local improve- ment district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor, and providing that the payment of said improvement be made by special assessments on the property of said district by mode of 'Payment by Bonds ' . THA CITY OF AV TT DOJ S ORDAIN: Section 1: That Chestnut Street from Hewitt Avenue to .veratt Avenue be improved by removal of old lumber, sub-grading, construction of cement walks , concrete curb and gutter, complete drainage system, paving with asphalt upon a suitable concrete base, installation of fire hydrants; and that Chestnut Street from Averett Avenue to Twenty-third Street be improved by clearing and grubbing, removal of old lumber, grading, construction of cement walks, curb, gutter, plank cross walks , complete drainage system, installation of fire hydrants , and doing such other work as may be necessary in con- nection therewith, such improvement to be made according to the plans and specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the city engineer, and now on file in the office of the city engineer, which said plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved.
