• <br /> used in connection with the said exhibitions are in compliance <br /> with this ordinance. <br /> Section 9: The Chief of the Fire Department shall have <br /> authority and it shall be his duty to revoke the license issued <br /> to any person, firm or corporation for conducting or maintaining <br /> picture machine exhibitions, when he shall be satisfied that <br /> such licensee has violated any of the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Provided, however, before revoking such license opportunity shall <br /> be given such licensee to appear before said Chief of the Fire <br /> Department and show, if possible,cause why the same should not be <br /> revoked. <br /> Section 10: No person maintaining or operating any picture <br /> machine at the time of the taking effect of this ordinance shall be <br /> required to comply with the provisions of this ordinance relating <br /> to the width of exits , width of aisles, and arrangement of seats, <br /> in any building in which such picture machine is operated or main- <br /> tained until the expiration of ten days from the time that such <br /> person is served with a written notice by the Chief of the Fire <br /> Department requiring such person to comply with said provisions. <br /> Section 11: The requirements herein named so far as <br /> installation of moving picture device and the construction and <br /> location of booth are concerned, shall apply to theatres, churches, <br /> schools and public halls. <br /> Section 12: Any person or persons violating any of the <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by <br /> a fine of not to exceed one hundred ( 100) dollars, or by imprison- <br /> ment not to exceed thirty (30) days, or by both such fine or impris- <br /> onment. <br /> Section 13: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its pass« <br /> age. /s <br /> Passed: <br /> FEB 24 1914 yor. <br /> Attest: <br /> 26 1914 <br /> Published: <br />
