March 4, 2026 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., March 4, 2026, <br />by President Schwab. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Zarlingo, Tuohy, Bader, <br />Weir, Rhyne and President Schwab were present. Council Member Burbano was excused. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader recited the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin advised that she is presenting the State of the City tomorrow at the Historic <br />Everett Theater and a community edition on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Olympic View Ballroom <br />at the Walter E. Hall Golf Course. She advised will miss the next two council meetings for various <br />events and she will be leaving this meeting early. <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the February 25, 2026, meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The council received one (1) written comment and the following members of the public spoke: <br />Liz Vogeli, Jen Chong Jewell, Travis Pardo, Terri Amburgy, and John Peeples. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo reported on his attendance at the Snohomish County Tomorrow <br />meeting, Puget Sound Regional Council’s Economic Development District Board meeting, and the <br />opening of the Tapped Public House at Waterfront Place. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy thanked Council Member Zarlingo for the update on emergency housing. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader reported on his attendance at the Transportation Advisory Committee <br />and the Puget Sound Regional Council’s Growth Management Board meeting. <br />
