All <br /> curves or bends in pipe must be made with one-eighth bends, and no <br /> curves or bends will be allowed to be made with straight joints of <br /> pipe where one-eighth bend can be used. All sewer ditches must be <br /> open full length from main sewer to connection with house or premises <br /> to be connected, with proper grade of one-fourth inch or more to a <br /> foot, before calling for inspection,and if a sewer is laid before <br /> inspected it must be left uncovered until inspected; provided, if the <br /> enforcement of the above rule would interfere with traffic on the <br /> street, such sewer or lateral shall be installed in such manner as <br /> the Sewer Inspector shall determine. All cement used in laying <br /> sewers must be mixed in proportion of not less than two of fine sand <br /> to one of good cement, and all joints must be properly cemented. All <br /> persons laying sewers must clean all of the cement out of the sewers <br /> with a swab. In all cases where there are houses on separate lots, <br /> they must be connected separately to main sewer, whether such lots <br /> are owned by the same person or by different persons. If two houses <br /> are situate on the same let, one connection to main sewer will be <br /> permitted. <br />
