• <br /> full period provided by law and the ordinances of the city of <br /> verett before which such assessments or installments of assessments <br /> are subject to sale, the city treasurer shall certify to the city <br /> clerk that there are delinquent and unpaid assessments or installments <br /> thereof, giving the district number and installment thereof, if it <br /> be an installment roll, ordinance number under which it was created, <br /> street name, nature of the improvement, and the date of delinquency. <br /> The city clerk shall upon receipt of such certificate verify the <br /> same, and if found correct shall certify the same to the city <br /> council, and when authorized by the city council the city clerk <br /> shall issue a warrant directing the treasurer to sell all the prop- <br /> erty described upon said roll upon which assessments are levied to <br /> satisfy all such delinquent and unpaid assessments or installments <br /> thereof, together with interest, penalties , and costs, as provided <br /> by law. <br /> Such warrant issued for the purpose of making sale of <br /> such property shall be deemed and taken as an execution against <br /> • said property for the amount of said assessments or installments <br /> thereof, with interest, penalties, and costs, and the city treasurer <br /> shall, within sixty days from receipt thereof by him, commence the <br /> sale of said property." <br /> Section 3: That Section 17 of said Ordinance No. 1439, be <br /> and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 17: Before any contract for the making of any <br /> improvement shall be binding against the city, the contractor shall <br /> enter into a bond with the city in a sum not less than seventy-five <br /> per cent of the contract price for said improvement.
