31 <br /> <br />2a: Non-suppression non-classified paramedics shall serve on a paramedic unit for <br />four day shifts per calendar year as a third person. <br /> <br />3. Non-classified paramedics wishing to become classified must apply and test with all other <br />paramedic applicants and appear on the eligible register following Civil Service rules. <br /> <br />The City will promote classified paramedics following Civil Service Rules. <br /> <br />4. Ongoing approval for Washington State Paramedic Certification must be approved by the Medical <br />Program Director. <br /> <br />
