March 25, 2026 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Thursday, Bayside neighborhood is hosting Art in the Park at Clark Park on Saturday, and Everett <br />High School is having their Blue and Gold Auction at Everett Community College. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader commented on his attendance at the Council of Neighborhoods meeting. <br />He reminded the community they may donate to the CARE Team Flex Fund. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne commented on her attendance at two business openings: Recharge and <br />the Everett Birthing Center. She stated Saturday will be busy downtown: there’s a No Kings Rally, <br />figure skating competition, and Silvertips games at Angel of the Winds Arena. She also sent along <br />her condolences to the Police Department and Officer Rocha’s family. <br /> <br />President Schwab commented on his attendance at three neighborhood meetings: Boulevard <br />Bluffs, View Ridge-Madison, and Harborview-Seahurst-Glenhaven. He also said the Edgewater <br />Bridge is possibly opening on April 28 and there will be a ribbon cutting with Mukilteo. He said <br />the District 3 Town Hall is scheduled for April 16. He also asked if anyone wishes to be involved <br />in the Advisory Group for Women and Children’s Pallet Shelter on Sievers-Duecy Boulevard they <br />should contact him. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Senior Executive Director Mike Fong had no comments. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall had no comments. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Bader, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8286 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$2,159,222.71 for the period ending March 7, 2026, through March 13, 2026. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – PAYROLL CLAIMS <br />
