work as nay be necessary in connection therewith, said improve- <br /> ment to be made in accordance with plans and specifications <br /> therefor prepared under the direction of the city engineer <br /> and now on file in the office of the city engineer, which <br /> plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, <br /> including all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be <br /> borne by and assessed against tae property included in the <br /> assessment district hereby created in accordance with law. <br /> The city of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any <br /> portion of such improvement, unless otherwise provided herein. <br /> Section 3: That there is hereby established an enlarged <br /> local improvement district, to be called "Local Improvement <br /> District No. ,Q= ". Such enlarged improvement district shall <br /> include all the property in Section 36, Township 29 North, <br /> Range 4 East, W.M. ; all of Section 25, Township 29 North, <br /> Range 4 .e;ast, W.M. and the Northwest quarter of Section 31, <br /> Township 29 North, Range 5 east, W.M. ; also Blocks 5 , 6, 7 , <br /> 8 abd 9 of the Plat of Terrace Addition to Everett. Said <br /> improvement district includes all the lots, tracts and parcels <br /> of land and other property found to be specially benefited <br /> by said improvement. <br /> Section 4: That there be assessed against that portion of <br /> the property within such enlarged district described as fol- <br /> lows: to-wit: All the property between the termini of such <br /> improvement abutting upon, adjacent, vicinal or proximate <br /> to and which lies within 120 feet of the marginal lines of the <br /> iIukilteo Boulevard, Federal Street, Forty-second Street, <br /> Grandview Avenue, and Crescent Avenue as described above,for <br /> such improvement not to exceed the sum of $17,500. The remaind- <br /> er of the entire cost and expense of such improvement shall be <br /> borne by and assessed against the property within the remaining <br /> portion of said enlarged district according to the special ben- <br /> efits. <br /> Section 5: That there is hereby created a local improvement <br />
