Port Gardner Storage Facility West Marine View Drive Storm and Combined Sewer - Exhibit A Scope of Work <br />30 <br />•Change items number and design effort is an estimate and may not reflect actual number of <br />items or effort. CO metrics will be reviewed monthly and included in the monthly progress <br />report. <br />•Reissuance of contract drawings may be required for select change issues to communicate <br />design intent at Engineer’s discretion. Contractor’s record drawings will incorporate contract <br />change designs and record information. City’s CM will check Contractor’s redline record <br />drawings include this information. <br />•Price negotiation for Change Orders will be by City’s CM. <br />•The City will prepare Change Orders for council approval, including processing and tracking, <br />•The City will review and comment on Contractor’s Change Order Requests content and <br />pricing. <br />•The City will provide research materials and field access to respond to change requests, as <br />required, as governed by the Contract. <br />•The City will host ad-hoc meetings related to change issues. <br />Meetings <br />•Allowance of up to 60, 1-hour ad-hoc meetings, attended by 2 Engineer staff members, <br />related to change issues. <br />Deliverables <br />•Contract change design content, including sketches, photos, pdf markups and reissued <br />Contract Drawings to communicate changes to the Contract Documents. <br />Phase 1054 – Package 2 Specialty Services <br />Task 1054.1 Permit Services during Construction <br />Permit services during construction are being led by Environmental Science Associates (ESA). This <br />task is meant to cover as needed environmental and permitting activities that may arise during <br />project construction, not to exceed the approved budget. <br />Activities/Approach: <br />Potential activities under this task could include but are not limited to: <br />•Updating environmental documentation. <br />•Revising permit application materials for the permits ESA helped obtain in the design phase <br />of this project to reflect changes in project elements <br />•Preparation of City permit applications <br />•Coordination with and responding to permitting agencies. <br />Assumptions: <br />•The pipeline alignment will not directly impact any critical areas. If wetlands or streams are <br />impacted, additional scope would be required. <br />•No onsite wetlands are present, and no Federal permits are required. <br />•All permit fees will be paid by the City of Everett. <br />Deliverables: <br />•Revised permit application materials, as needed.
