Strappings shall be at points within <br />the upper one-third and lower one-third of its vertical dimensions. At the lower point, a distance of not less than four (4) inches (102 mm) shall be <br />maintained from the controls to the strapping.- Install steel bollard or other approved curb type stop to protect water heater from vehicle impact. Per <br />UPC 507.13.1 Physical DamageAppliances installed in garages, warehouses, or other areas subject to mechanical damage shall be guarded against such <br />damage by being installed behind protective barriers or located out of the path of vehicles.- Install sediment trap on gas supply after shut off valve per <br />IRC chap 24.- Tank exhaust flue hood has lifted off top off tank.
