<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8292 <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION concerning <br />2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan and <br />allocations of CDBG, HOME, and 2060 Affordable Housing Trust Funds <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognized the need for certain housing and <br />community development programs in Everett; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds have been made available <br />through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide for those <br />programs, and Everett anticipates receiving approximately $850,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, through lnterlocal Agreements that automatically renew, the City of Everett will <br />receive HOME funds and 2060 Affordable Housing Trust funds from Snohomish County this <br />year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) has studied the housing <br />and community development needs and priorities for Everett and at a public hearing on <br />February 3, 2026 has made its recommendations for CDBG funds, HOME funds, and 2060 <br />Affordable Housing Trust funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 2025 – 2029 Consolidated Plan and 2026 Annual Action Plan have been written <br />in cooperation with the Everett Housing Authority, Snohomish County Housing Authority, <br />Snohomish County, the City of Marysville and local non -profit service providers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendations from the CDAC; and <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />
