April 8, 2026 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, that this is declared to <br />be the third and final reading of Council Bill 2603-16. <br /> <br /> <br />The City Clerk was directed to call roll for the final disposition of the ordinance. <br /> <br /> AYES: Weir, Schwab, Burbano, Zarlingo, Bader, Tuohy <br /> NAYES: None <br /> ABSENT: Rhyne <br /> <br /> Ordinance 4172-26 adopted. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2603-17 <br /> <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE approving the appropriations of the 2026 revised City of Everett budget <br />and amending Ordinance No. 4126-25 <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Bader, that this is declared <br />to be the third and final reading of Council Bill 2603-17. <br /> <br /> <br />The City Clerk was directed to call roll for the final disposition of the ordinance. <br /> <br /> AYES: Weir, Schwab, Burbano, Zarlingo, Bader, Tuohy <br /> NAYES: None <br /> ABSENT: Rhyne <br /> <br /> Ordinance 4173-26 adopted. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br /> <br />Council recessed for an executive session at 6:59 p.m., began the executive session at 6:59 p.m. <br />and ended the session at 7:09 p.m. Council reconvened at 7:09 p.m. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - WORKERS COMPENSATION <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to authorize the Mayor <br />to execute a settlement agreement on a workers compensation claim for PTSD with former <br />Police Officer Aaron Showalter, in the amount of 300,000.
