<br />PGSF WMVD Storm and Combined Sewer - Construction Package 2 Injection Grouting <br />Project No. 180162 03 64 00 - 2 <br /> <br />C. Manufacturer’s Representative <br />1. The Manufacturer’s Representative is authorized to act on behalf of the <br />manufacturer regarding technical issues. They shall provide technical support to <br />resolve field issues throughout the duration of the work. <br />2. The Manufacturer’s Representative shall be available to the Owner and Construction <br />Manager and spend at least 8 hours on-site providing field inspections of grouting <br />activities. <br />3. The Manufacturer’s Representative shall verify in writing that the proper procedures <br />and equipment are used by the Contractor and installer and that the grout is being <br />applied per the manufacturer’s recommendations. <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. In accordance with Section 01 33 000, SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES. <br />B. Action Submittals: <br />1. A copy of this specification section, with addendum updates included, and <br />referenced and applicable sections, with addendum updates included, with each <br />paragraph check-marked to indicate specification compliance or marked to indicate <br />requested deviations from specification requirements. A check mark shall denote full <br />compliance with a paragraph as a whole. If deviations from the specifications are <br />indicated, and therefore requested by the Contractor, each deviation shall be <br />underlined and denoted by a number in the margin to the right of the identified <br />paragraph, referenced to a detailed written explanation of the reasons for requesting <br />the deviation. The Construction Manager shall be the final authority for determining <br />acceptability of requested deviations. The remaining portions of the paragraph not <br />underlined will signify compliance on the part of the Contractor with the <br />specifications. Failure to include a copy of the marked-up specification sections, <br />along with justification(s) for any requested deviations to the specification <br />requirements, with the submittal shall be sufficient cause for rejection of the entire <br />submittal with no further consideration. <br />2. Grouting plan(s) including but not limited to: <br />a. Grouting Contractor’s name, contact information, list of key personnel and <br />experience for Company and installers performing the work. <br />b. Chemical grout, grout mixture ratio (including additives), and gel times. <br />c. LDCC mix design including foaming agent and admoxtures. <br />d. Equipment operating procedures and systems to be used, including <br />manufacturer’s literature on grout pumps, packers, and lateral blockage clearing <br />equipment. <br />3. Upon completion of grouting each reach, submit to Owner and Construction Manager <br />a report showing the following data for each joint tested and/or grouted or attempted <br />to be grouted. <br />a. Stationing. <br />b. Time and date. <br />c. Grout mixture formation, including additives and catalyst mixture formulation and <br />proportion of each. Include procedure for adjusting grout mixture for variations in <br />ambient temperatures and changes of temperature of grout through hoses <br />exposed to the atmosphere.
