<br />PGSF WMVD Storm and Combined Sewer - Construction Package 2 Surface Restoration <br />Project No. 180162 32 10 00 - 3 <br /> <br />1. AIS step certification letter(s) for all applicable materials provided. Refer to <br />Specification 01 11 00, Summary of Work. <br />D. Construction Submittals <br />1. Quality assurance and testing reports as required by the permitting agency. <br />E. Record Submittals <br />1. Per Section 01 78 39 PROJECT RECORD DOCUMENTS. <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. Unless otherwise specified by permit or these Contract Documents, pavement <br />replacement shall comply with the requirements of the government agency having <br />jurisdiction of the right-of-way in which the Work is completed. <br />1. See additional requirements in Section 32 12 16 ASPHALT PAVING. <br />2.02 STRIPPING AND MARKERS <br />A. Replace/restore stripping and markers in Kind (e.g. tape stripping shall be replaced with <br />tape stripping, ground into the asphalt. Substitution with thermoplastic paint will not be <br />allowed.) <br />2.03 ROADBASE <br />A. Provide Road base per Section 32 11 23 AGGREGATE BASE COURSE, WSDOT Chapter 4 <br />and Division 9 Materials. <br />2.04 CULTIVATED AREAS AND OTHER SURFACE IMPROVEMENTS <br />A. Cultivated or planted areas and other surface improvements within the ROW which are <br />damaged during completion of the Work shall be restored to their original condition or <br />better. Restoration shall take place within 1 week or sooner as directed by the Owner’s <br />Representative. <br />B. Existing guard posts, barricades, signs, and fences shall be protected and replaced in <br />their current location, if removed or damaged. <br />2.05 CONCRETE PANELS <br />A. Restore concrete panels in kind, in their entirety in accordance with WSDOT <br />requirements, All materials shall conform to the requirements of WSDOT/APWA Standard <br />Specifications, COE Section 3-14 and Division 5 Surface Treatments and Pavements. <br />1. For Cement concrete base pavement patching provide high early strength cement <br />concrete. Provide minimum 4000 psi mix having minimum 3000 psi compressive <br />strength after curing time of three days. <br />2. Cement concrete pavement patch shall be Class 4000 HES meeting the <br />requirements of Section 6-02.
