M ORDINANCE NO. \'2' An ordinance providing for the improvement of Walnut Street from the south line of Everett Avenue to the north line of Sixteenth Street, by the removal of old lumber, clearing and grubb- ing, grading to proper grade, construction of cement walks, plank curb and gutter, plank cross walks, paving with plank, drainage system, installation of fire hydrants, raking and seeding of parking strips, making old work conform with the new, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with Resolution No. 1903 of the city of Everett, creating a local improvement district, creating a local improvement district fund, and providing that payment of said improvement be made by special assessment on the property in said district by mode of 'Payment by bonds ' . THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: , Section 1: That Walnut Street from the south line of Everett Avenue to the north line of Sixteenth Street be improved by the removal of old lumber, clearing and gurbbing, grading to proper grade, construction of cement walks , plank curb and gutter, plank cross walks , paving with plank, drainage system, installation of fire hydrants , raking and seeding of parking strips , making old work conform with the new, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, such improvement to be made according to the plans and specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the city engineer and now on file in the office of the city- engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included within the assessment district hereby created in accordance with law.
