EXHIBIT A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT MacLeod Reckord PLLC 506 Second Avenue, Suite 1021 Seattle, Washington 98104 P 206-323-7919 Amendment 2 SCOPE OF WORK Forest Park Pickleball Court Improvements PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Scope of Work includes provision of construction administrative services for the development of improvements and expansion of existing hard and soft surface sport and game courts at Forest Park. Services include preconstruction meetings, regular weekly construction meetings, document review as noted, material testing and construction inspections, preliminary and final punch list, and as built plans. GENERAL PROJECT ASSUMPTIONS 1.Conditions and assumptions as noted in the general contract. 2.Contract time for Contractor is 180 calendar days. Notice to Proceed is estimated to be end of September 2025 making Substantial Completion estimated to be end of July 2026. SCHEDULE The scope of work is premised on construction administrative support commencing in August 2025 and ending by December 31, 2026. CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES The reasons for this Amendment 2 request are as follows: The overall project duration has extended due to weather delays and temporary shutdown on site over the winter months. MacLeod Reckord’s workload was reduced but not eliminated entirely as the Contractor continued to provide submittals and submit RFI’s. As the project has resumed there have been a number of issues requiring the team to address including: soft subgrade conditions, wall footing conditions, imported material, and questions from the Contractor about elevations, earthwork quantities, and shop drawing submittals that have resulted in considerably more time spent than originally anticipated by MacLeod Reckord and HWA. Based on the work to date and the expectation of approximate completion date we are requesting the following:
