Exhibit B <br />ORDINANCE Page 1 of 42 <br />EXHIBIT B <br /> <br />Title 17 MOBILE HOME PARKS <br />CHAPTER 17.04 PURPOSE <br />17.04.010 PURPOSE AND NECESSITY. <br />A. The purpose of this tide is to regulate the use of mobile homes and to establish minimum standards <br />and requirements for the construction and operation of mobile home parks. It is the intent of this title <br />to recognize the changing trends of mobile home park development and to provide regulations which <br />allow a certain degree of flexibility in construction and design. <br />B. The regulations contained herein have been determined by the planning commission to be in accord <br />with the general development plan for the city and are necessary to protect and secure the public <br />health, safety, and general welfare. <br />C. The regulations contained herein are also intended to implement and supplant the mobile home <br />regulations of the Washington Department of Health only where this title prescribes minimum <br />standards equal to or greater than the state rules and regulations. (Prior code § 17.04.010.) <br />CHAPTER 17.08: DEFINITIONS <br />17.08.010 DEFINITIONS. <br />For the purpose of this title, certain terms and words are herewith defined as follows in this chapter. <br />(Prior code § 17.08.010.) <br />17.08.020 ACCESSORY USE. <br />“Accessory use” means a use customarily incidental and subordinate to the principal use or mobile <br />home and located on the same mobile home lot with the principal use or mobile home—or in the <br />mobile home. (Prior code § 17.08.020.) <br />17.08.030 AWNING—PERMANENT. <br />“Permanent awning” means any structure erected for shade or shelter and which is completely open on <br />at least two sides. A side may be interpreted to be an end. “Awning” does not include a window awning. <br />A permanent awning shall be accessory to a mobile home and shall be designed so as not to be readily <br />disassembled, moved and reassembled and is intended to be constructed in conformance with the <br />building code, and within six feet of the mobile home to which it is accessory. (Prior code § 17.08.030.) <br />17.08.040 AWNING—PORTABLE OR DEMOUNTABLE. <br />“Portable or demountable awning” means any prefabricated structure erected for shade or shelter <br />which is designed to be readily assembled and disassembled and adapted to ready transportation. A <br />portable awning shall be completely open on at least two sides. A side may be interpreted to be an end. <br />“Awning” does not include a window awning. An awning shall be accessory to a mobile home and shall <br />be located within six feet of the mobile home to which it is accessory. (Prior code § 17.08.040.)
