City of Everett 01 1100 - 2 <br />2026 Biosolids Removal and Disposal UT 3752-30 <br />01 1100 - 2 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />5. Dredge and dewater (with Contractor supplied dredge and dewatering <br />equipment) of 4,000 dry tons of biosolids. <br />6. Manage dewatered biosolids on site. <br />7.Load, weigh, and transport all dewatered biosolids to the designated area <br />on City’s Biosolids Pad for temporary storage. <br />8. Load, weigh, and transport dewatered biosolids to a certified solid waste <br />disposal facility. <br />9.WPCF Biosolids Pad site cleanup and restoration. <br />10.Demobilization. <br />C.Work under the Contract shall also include: <br />1. Sampling in a representative manner, storing samples according to <br />sampling protocols, and submitting samples for analysis as required by <br />Owner. <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br />A.Prior to mobilization, the following submittals shall be submitted to the City for <br />review and approval: <br />1.Proposed dewatering agents and the estimated quantity. <br />2.Contractor’s Spill Prevention Plan (See example in Appendix C). <br />3.Health and Safety Plan (See Section 01 3529). <br />4.Equipment Decontamination and History Log (See Section 01 7400). <br />1.4 BUILDING ACCESS AND SECURITY <br />A.Contractor access to the work site will be restricted as follows: <br />1.Entry & Exit: The Contractor will be given access into facility by City’s <br />representative. Contractor is expected to maintain site security and lock <br />gates outside of established working hours. See Section 01 3553. <br />1.5 WORKING HOURS <br />A.General Contractor will be required to provide a project schedule that clearly <br />defines each phase of work and the work hours associated with each phase. <br />B.Work sites are available from 06:00 – 22:30 seven days a week excluding City <br />observed holidays unless otherwise approved by the City’s Project Manager. <br />Any additional or alternate work hours will require advance approval and <br />coordination with the City’s Project Manager. See 01 5000 for Noise Ordinance.
