PURPOSE & DESCRIPTION: <br />The objective of the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2026 FIFA World Cup (FY 2026 FWCGP) grant <br />program is to provide targeted funding to enhance security and preparedness for the 2026 FIFA <br />World Cup events hosted in the United States. It will provide Federal resources to help Host Cities in <br />implementing the necessary security measures and strengthen capabilities required for this series of <br />high-risk events. FWC grant funds will enhance the ability of local law enforcement, emergency <br />responders, and public safety officials to prepare for, protect against, and respond to threats and <br />emergencies during the World Cup matches. <br />The Organization is a sub-recipient and Pass-through Entity of the FY 2026 FWCGPC Award Letter <br />for Grant No. EMW-2026-W-05005 ("the Grant"), which is incorporated in and attached hereto as <br />Attachment C, and has made a subaward of Federal award funds to the Subrecipient pursuant to <br />this Agreement.
