A\ f <br /> An ordinance requiring all persons or corporations <br /> maintaining telephone, telegraph, electric light, or other poles, <br /> on any street, alley, or other public place within the city of <br /> .r:r*erett, to file within a certain time a chart or plat showing the <br /> location of such poles, providing penalties for the violation of <br /> this ordinance, and repealing Ordinance re. 1416 of the city of <br /> Everett, and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF i VARATT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: All persons or corporations maintaining tel- <br /> egraph, telephone, electric light, or other poles , on any street, <br /> alley, or other public place in the city of aver. ett, shall, within <br /> sixty days from the passage and publication of this ordinance,file <br /> with the city council a chart or plat showing the location of <br /> each and every pole so maintained by such person or corporation. <br /> Such chart or plat shale. also show the number of poles supporting <br /> cluster lights and maintained by such person or corporation filing <br /> 4:21 ° _ <br /> such chart or plat. � ,r "*f' �� <br /> 14, • <br /> Section 2: Any person or corporation violating any of <br /> the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined <br /> in any sum not to exceed one hundred (`',1OO.00) dollars for each <br /> offense, and each and every day any person or corporation fails to <br /> comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance shall constitute <br /> a separate and distinct offense. <br /> Section 3: That Ordinance No. 1416 of the city of Everett <br /> be, and the same is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 4: WHAREAS, it is necessary to know the loca- <br /> tion and ownership of all poles maintained in public places in the <br /> city of Everett in order to keep such places in a safe condition, <br /> an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take <br /> effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> 7 A <br /> fi t r 8 1913 <br /> Passed Mayor. <br /> Attest <br /> 3' Vic. <br /> Published / <br />
