RATT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Ordinance No. 1307 of the city of <br /> Averett entitled as above set forth, be, and the same is hereby <br /> amended by adding thereto a section, to be designated as Section 9. <br /> Said section shall read as follows: <br /> Section 9: Vehicles crossing from one side of the street <br /> to the other shall do so by turning to the left so as to head in <br /> the same direction as the traffic on the side of the street toward <br /> which the crossing is made, except on streets where the grade ' ' <br /> exceeds five per cent; provided, that motorcycles, automobiles, and <br /> other motor vehicles shall not cross from one side of the street <br /> to the other within seventy-five feet of any street intersection. <br /> Section 2: That Ordinance 1To. 1440 of the city of <br /> . verett be, and the same is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 3: tiyH.tBE S, the above regulation is necessary for <br /> the proper protection of persons traveling on the streets of the city <br /> of iverett, an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance <br /> shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> 1:7.... . --t"' <br /> gassed AP ' 1 1913 Mayor. <br /> Attest <br /> ,.-e- ..,‘„---„,---- <br /> t , er . <br /> ublis red APR -) , 1913 <br />
