F f ,`fir;, n. � . f 9,41; ROLL ' \1 :,1_ • ORDINANCE ITO. \VOD An ordinance providing for the improvement of Highland Avenue from Twenty-fourth Street to Twenty-first Street; State Street from Twenty-fourth Street to Twenty-first Street; and Twenty- third Street from Baker Avenue to Summit Avenue, by clearing and grubbing, grading to proper grade, construction of cement walks, concrete curb, plank gutters , cross walks, drainage system; raking and seeding of parking strips , installation of fire hydrants, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with Resolution No. 1889 of the city of Everett, creating a local improvement district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor, and providing that payment for said improve- ment be made by special assessment on the property in :said district by mode of "payment by bonds". THE CITY OP EVEPETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Highland Avenue from Twenty-fourth Street to Twenty-first Street; State Street from Twenty-fourth Street to Twenty-first Street; and Twenty-third Street from Baker Avenue to Summit Avenue be improved by clearing and grubbing, grading to proper grade, construction of cement walks, concrete curb, plank gutters, cross walks , drainage system, raking and seeding of parking strips , installation of fire hydrants, making old work con- form with new, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, such improvement to be made according to the plane and specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the city engineer, now on file in the office of the city engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including all necessary and incidental expenses , shall be borne by and assessed against the property included ir the assessment district hereafter created in accordance with law.
