A . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. \uc _ <br /> An ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and <br /> assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 269, for the <br /> improvement of the alley between Colby and Wetmore Avenues between <br /> Hewitt Avenue and California Street, and being in Block 667 of the <br /> plat of Everett, by grading to proper grade, removal of old lumber, <br /> paving, and the removing and replacing of pavement, by the construc- <br /> tion of a sewer with all necessary appurtenances for the draining of <br /> the district, and doing all such other work as may be necessary in <br /> connection therewith under Ordinance No. 1424, and levying an assess- <br /> ment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels <br /> of land as shown on said roll, fixing a date for the issuance of <br /> bonds, and providing for the sale of said bonds. <br /> THE CITY OF . VERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the asseessment and assessment roll of Local <br /> Improvement District No. 269, for the improvement of the alley. <br /> between Colby'and Wetmore Avenues , between He ritt Avenue and Calif.. <br /> ornia Street, and being in Block 667 of the plat of Everett, by grad- <br /> ing to proper grade, removal of old lumber, paving, and the removing <br /> and replacing of pavement, by the construction of a sewer with all <br /> necessary appurtenances for the draining of the district, and doing <br /> all such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, as <br /> Provided by Ordinance No. 1424, as the same now stands, be, and the <br /> same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. <br /> Section 2: That each of the lots , tracts and narcels of land, <br /> or other property shown on said roll, is hereby declared to be spec- <br /> ially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged <br /> against the same, and that the assessment appearing against the same <br /> is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said roll, <br /> and there is hereby levied an assessment against each lot, tract and <br /> parcel of land, and other property appearing upon said roll, the <br /> amount finally charged against the same thereon. <br />
