May 27, 2026 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING- COUNCIL BILL 2605-26: <br /> <br />The public hearing was opened by President Schwab regarding Council Bill 2605-26. <br /> <br /> <br />The following member of the public provided comment: Jim Langus. <br /> <br />Ryan Sass, Public Works, answered Council questions. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council Member Zarlingo who was <br />excused. <br /> <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BILL 2605-26 <br /> <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE amending Everett’s established utility rates for the operating years of <br />2025 through 2028 <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Bader, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, that this is declared to <br />be the third and final reading of Council Bill 2605-26. <br /> <br /> <br />The Deputy City Clerk was directed to call roll for the final disposition of the ordinance. <br /> <br />AYES: Weir, Burbano, Tuohy, Rhyne, Bader, Schwab <br /> NAYES: None <br /> ABSENT: Zarlingo <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Ordinance 4183-26 adopted. <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS:
