ORDINANCE NO. /3 C An ordinance providing for the improvement of Sixteenth Street from Rucker Avenue to Rockefeller Avenue, by removal of old lumber, -sub-grading, laying of asphalt or concrete pavement twenty feet wide, construction of concrete curb, concrete gutters, making old work conform with new, finishing of parking strip; and for the improvement of Sixteenth Street from Rockefeller Avenue to walnut Street by clearing and grubbing, grading to proper grade, laying of asphalt or concrete pavement sixteen feet wide, pavement header, draining, cross walks, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with resolution No. 1803 of the city of everett, creating a local improvement district, prow- ding a local improvement district fund therefor, and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessment upon the property in said district by mode of 'payment by bonds' . THA CITY OF E'VARATT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Sixteenth Street from Rucker Avenue to Rockefeller Avenue be improved by removal of old lumber, sub-grading, laying of asphalt or concrete pavement. twenty feet wide, construc- tion of concrete curbs , concrete gutters, making old work conform with new, finishing parking strips; and that Sixteenth Street from Rockefeller Avenue to Walnut Street be improved by clearing and grubbing, grading to proper grade, laying of asphalt or concrete pavement sixteen feet wide, pavement header, draining, cross walks, and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection there- with, such improvement to be made according to the plans and speci- fications therefor prepared under the direction of the city engineer, and now on file in the office of the city engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district hereafter created in accordance with law.
