-8- <br /> • • <br /> • • <br /> of such certified check deposited by any bidder, shall be taken, <br /> considered and deemed as agreed and liquidated damages for the <br /> breach of such bidder' s contract of purchase, and shall be retained <br /> and held by said city for its use; but if such successful bidder <br /> shall complete the purchase of said bonds awarded to him pursuant <br /> to the provisions hereof, and his *bid and award thereof, said <br /> proceeds of said certified check shall thereupon be returned to <br /> such bidder. <br /> Section 7: That the city clerk be, and he is hereby <br /> authorized and instructed to have printed, lithographed or engraved <br /> the bonds to be issued pursuant to said ordinance No. 1407 , in the <br /> form provided for herein. <br /> Section 8: That the mayor, city treasurer and city clerk <br /> be, and they are hereby authorized and directed, when said bonds <br /> are issued, as herein provided, to sign, countersign, and attest <br /> said bonds respectively. <br /> Section 9: That said bonds shall not be issued and <br /> delivered until the purchase price of said improvements on said <br /> city dock property is fixed and determined in the manner provided <br /> in the lease of the city dock property, and after said time said <br /> bonds shall be issued at such time or times as the city council <br /> shall order. <br /> Section 10: WHEREAS, the purchase price of said improve. <br /> meats on said city dock property should be paid as soon as possible, <br /> and said bonds should be sold immediately, an emergency is declared <br /> to exist, and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage <br /> and publication. <br /> 6/6 • <br /> Passed SEP 1 11912 Mayor. • <br /> A t t e s t :?) <br /> rk. <br /> Published " 1 2 1912 <br />
