ROLL CALL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. /0 T <br /> An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1307 of the city of <br /> Everett, entitled"An ordinance regulating the travel and traffic <br /> upon the streets of the city of Everett, and providing penalties <br /> for the violation thereof, and repealing all ordinances or parts <br /> of ordinances in conflict therewith, by adding thereto two (2) <br /> sections , to be designated as sections 7 and 8, ann declaring <br /> an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVNIRETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Sect. 1. That Ordinance No. 1307 of the city of Everett, <br /> entitled " An ordinance regulating the travel and traffic upon <br /> the streets of the city of Everett , and providing penalties for <br /> the violation thereof and repealing all ordinances or parts of <br /> ordinances in conflict therewith " , be and the same is hereby <br /> amended by adding thereto a section, to be designated as section <br /> 7. Said section shall read as follows: <br /> Sect.7. Every autornohile or motor vehicle Jsing gasoline <br /> as motive poi er shall use the " muffler" so-cafle d ,and the same <br /> shall not be cut out or disconnected within the limits of the <br /> city of Everett. <br /> Sect. 2. That said Ordinance No. 1307 of the city of <br /> Everett be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a <br /> section to be designated as section 8. Said section shall read <br /> as follows: <br /> Sect. 8. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate <br /> or use an automobileor motor vehicle on the streets or other <br /> publics placed of the city of Everett, without having displayed <br /> on the back of such automobile Or motor vehicle, the riumber,;of <br /> the certificate issued by the Secretary of State, in light color- <br /> ed arable numerals, at least four inches high, on a dark back <br /> ground. <br /> Sect. 3. Whereas , there is no ordinance of the city, <br />
