d <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1��4 <br /> An ordinance amending Section 8 of Ordinance No. 1436 <br /> of the City of Everett , entitled " An ordinance fixing the salaries <br /> and compensation to be paid to the several officers of the City <br /> of Everett and their assistants and the employees of said city, <br /> repealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here- <br /> with, and declaring an emergency " ; and further amending said <br /> ordinance, by adding thereto a section to be designated as section <br /> 15 , and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. That section 8 of ordinance No. 1436 of the <br /> City of Everett, entitled " th 'ordinance fixing the salaries and <br /> compensation to be paid to the several officers of the City of <br /> Everett and their assistants , and the employees of said city, re- <br /> pealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, <br /> and declaring an emergency" , be and the same is hereby amended so <br /> as to read as follows: <br /> Section 8. That from and after July 1, 1912 , the salary <br /> and compensation to be paid to the following named officer of the <br /> City. of Everett and his assistants is hereby fixed as follows: <br /> City engineer , one hundred seventy five dollars per month; assistant <br /> engineer, one hundred ten dollars per month; draftsman and computers <br /> one hundred -dollars per month; instrument man, one hundred dollars <br /> p ;r month; stenograiher, sixty dollars per month for the first year, <br /> seventy dollars per month for the second year, seventy five dollars <br /> per month thereafter. Salaries of temporary assistants to said <br /> officer are hereby fixed as follows: draftsmen, ninety dollars per <br /> month; computers, ninety dollars per month; draftsmen and computers , <br /> one hundred dollars per month; instrument men, one hundred dollars <br /> per month; rod men eighty five dollars per month; chain men eighty <br /> dollars Pe4 r'bnth; axeman,` seventy five dollars per month; ins;;ect- <br /> ors , scveFity five dollars per month for the first year , eighty five <br /> _ <br /> ,.. _..._.._.._. a._..-..e... - e <br />
