ORDINANCE <br /> An ordinance providing for the improvement of the alley <br /> between Wetmore and Rockefeller Avenue from Hewitt Avenue to <br /> California Street, said alley being in block 666 of the plat of <br /> Everett and block 666 Tonnel Addition to the city of Everett, by <br /> the construction of sewers, manholes, flush tanks , catch basins, <br /> and drains , together with their appurtenances necessary for the <br /> proper sewering and draining of the district, and doing such other <br /> work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance <br /> with resolution No. 1717 of the city of Everett, creating a local <br /> improvement district therefor, creating a local improvement district <br /> fund therefor, and providing that payment for said improvement be <br /> made by special assessment upon property in said district by the <br /> mode of'payment by bonds ' . <br /> THE CITY OF J VERETT DOES ORD.AIN <br /> Section 1: That the alley between Wetmore and Rockefeller <br /> Avenues from Hewitt Avenue to California Street, said alley being <br /> in Block 666 of the plat of Everett,and block 666 .of Tonnel Addi- <br /> tion to the city of Everett, be improved by the construction of <br /> sewers , manholes , flush tanks, catch basins, and drains , together <br /> with their appurtenances necessary for the proper sewering and <br /> draining of the district, and doing such other work as may be <br /> necessary in connection therewith, such improvement to be made <br /> according to plans and specifications prepared under the direction <br /> of the city engineer, and no-;: . on file in the engineer's office. <br /> Sec. 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, <br /> including all necessary and incidental expenses , shall be borne by <br /> and assessed against the property included in the assessment district <br /> hereafter created in accordance with law. The city of Everett shall <br /> not be liable in any manner for any portion of the cost and expense <br /> of such improvement. <br />
