ORDINANCE NO. An ordinance providing for the opening up and establishing of certain alleys in the city of Everett, and directing the city attorney to institute condemnation proceedings for the purpose of acquiring the land necessary for that purpose, and creating an assessment district, and providing for the levy of special assess- ments to pay the cost thereof. WHEREAS, public necessity requires that certain alleys be opened up and established in the city of Everett, and WHEREAS, It is necessary in order to open and establish said alleys that certain lands be acquired by the city for that purpose, NOW THEMEFORE THE CITY OF EVER.ETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That certain alleys be, and the same are hereby opened up and established across certain lands, blocks, tracts and parcels of land in the city of Everett, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: "A strip of land twelve (12) feet wide on each side of the center line through all lands not heretofore dedicated, situate and lying within the following limits: Prom the center of the alley now existing according to the plat of Block 2, Smyth Land Company' s First Addition to the city of Everett, to the center of the alley now existing according to the plat of Block 2 in the Ohio Addition to the city of Everett.
