ORDINANCE NO. <br /> An ordinance providing for the opening up and establishing <br /> of certain alleys in the city of Everett, and directing the city <br /> attorney to institute condemnation proceedings for the purpose of <br /> acquiring the land necessary for that purpose, and creating an <br /> assessment district, and providing for the levy of special assess- <br /> ments to pay the cost thereof. <br /> WHEREAS, public necessity requires that certain alleys <br /> be opened up and established in the city of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, It is necessary in order to open and establish <br /> said alleys that certain lands be acquired by the city for that <br /> purpose, <br /> NOW THEMEFORE THE CITY OF EVER.ETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That certain alleys be, and the same are <br /> hereby opened up and established across certain lands, blocks, <br /> tracts and parcels of land in the city of Everett, more particularly <br /> described as follows, to-wit: <br /> "A strip of land twelve (12) feet wide on each side of the <br /> center line through all lands not heretofore dedicated, situate and <br /> lying within the following limits: Prom the center of the alley now <br /> existing according to the plat of Block 2, Smyth Land Company' s First <br /> Addition to the city of Everett, to the center of the alley now <br /> existing according to the plat of Block 2 in the Ohio Addition to <br /> the city of Everett. <br /> A strip of land twelve (12) feet wide on each side of <br /> the center line through all lands not heretofore dedicated, situate <br /> and lying within the following limits: From the center of the alley <br /> now existing according to than plat of Block 1, Smyth Land Company's <br /> First Addition to the city of Everett to the center of the alley <br /> now existing in Block 1 of the Ohio Addition to the city of Everett. <br /> A strip of land twelve (12) feet wide on each side of the <br /> center line through all lands not heretofore dedicated, situate and <br /> lying within the following limits: From the center line of the <br />
