• - <br /> • <br /> ♦` <br /> ORDINANCE NO. / `1- r o <br /> An ordinance amending ordinance No. 1394 of the city of <br /> Everett, entitled "An ordinance providing for the improvement of <br /> Twenty-sixth Street from East Grand Avenue to Cleveland Avenue , by <br /> clearing and grubbing, grading, construction of concrete walks , <br /> concrete curbs with armoured concrete returns, plank gutters, and <br /> the construction of necessary sewers and sub-drains , by seeding, and <br /> parking, and doing all such other work as may be necessary in con- <br /> nection therewith, creating a local improvement district therefor <br /> . and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special <br /> assessment upon property in said district by mode of 'Payment by <br /> bonds", ' by adding thereto a section to be designated as Section <br /> 5: THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That ordinance No. 1394 of the city of Everett, <br /> entitled "An ordinance providing for the improvement of Twenty- <br /> sixth Street from East Grand Avenue to Cleveland Avenue, by clearing <br /> and grubbing, grading, construction of concrete walks , concrete <br /> curbs with armoured concrete returns , plank gutters, and the con_- <br /> struction of necessary sewers and sub-drains , by seeding,- and park- <br /> ing, and doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection <br /> therewith, creating a local improvement district therefor and , <br /> providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assess- <br /> ment upon property in said district by mode of "Payment by bonds" , <br /> be, and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a section <br /> to be designated as Section 5. Said section shall read as follows: <br /> Sec. 5: A special fund is hereby created, to be called local <br /> improvement fund, district No. 266, which shall consist in the <br /> agg^regater of the several amounts assessed, levied and collected upon <br /> the several lots or parcels of land in said local improvement dist- <br /> rict for the purpose of defraying the cost and expense of said <br /> improvement.
