Purpose <br />The purpose of this Agreement is to provide partial reimbursement to Recipient for the cost of providing <br />high-quality indigent defense services for defendants facing charges of simple possession or public use <br />offenses under RCW 69.50.4011(1)(b) or (c), RCW 69.50.4013, RCW 69.50.4014, or RCW 69.41.030(1), <br />or under local ordinances involving allegations of simple possession or public use of a controlled <br />substance, counterfeit substance, or legend drugs, consistent with RCW 2.70.200. <br />10. Acknowledgment <br />The Office of Public Defense (OPD) and Recipient, as defined above, acknowledge and accept the terms of <br />this Contract and any attachments, exhibits and hyperlinked documents herein, and have executed this <br />Contract on the date below. The rights and obligations of both parties are governed by this Contract and the <br />other documents incorporated by reference. <br />11. Authority <br />The terms and conditions of this Contract are an integration of and constitute the final, entire, and exclusive <br />understanding of the agreement between the parties, superseding and merging all previous agreements, <br />writings, and communications between the parties made prior to or at the signing of this Contract. The <br />parties signing below warrant they have read and understand this Contract and have authority to enter into <br />this agreement. <br /> <br />
