Purpose The purpose of this Agreement is to provide partial reimbursement to Recipient for the cost of providing high-quality indigent defense services for defendants facing charges of simple possession or public use offenses under RCW 69.50.4011(1)(b) or (c), RCW 69.50.4013, RCW 69.50.4014, or RCW 69.41.030(1), or under local ordinances involving allegations of simple possession or public use of a controlled substance, counterfeit substance, or legend drugs, consistent with RCW 2.70.200. 10. Acknowledgment The Office of Public Defense (OPD) and Recipient, as defined above, acknowledge and accept the terms of this Contract and any attachments, exhibits and hyperlinked documents herein, and have executed this Contract on the date below. The rights and obligations of both parties are governed by this Contract and the other documents incorporated by reference. 11. Authority The terms and conditions of this Contract are an integration of and constitute the final, entire, and exclusive understanding of the agreement between the parties, superseding and merging all previous agreements, writings, and communications between the parties made prior to or at the signing of this Contract. The parties signing below warrant they have read and understand this Contract and have authority to enter into this agreement.
