• <br /> 4rEL1-77- <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2532-01 <br /> An Ordinance amending the Review Process <br /> provisions of the Zoning Code, superseding Chapter 42 of Ordinance <br /> No. 1671-89 as amended, (EMC 19.42)by the provisions of the <br /> City's Local Project Review Procedures Ordinance <br /> WHEREAS, the City adopted interim permit review processes for land use permits <br /> through the adoption of Ordinance No. 2136-96; and <br /> WHEREAS, through the adoption of the City's Local Project Review Procedures <br /> Ordinance, the City has incorporated the interim regulations into the Local Project <br /> Review Procedures Ordinance which is intended to be a master procedural ordinance for <br /> land use applications within the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, consistent with the intent of making the master procedural ordinance, the <br /> procedural aspects from Chapter 42 of the Zoning Code (Review Process) have been <br /> incorporated into the Local Project Review Procedures Ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intent of this ordinance to make the necessary revisions to the <br /> Zoning Code so that those provisions that have been incorporated into the Local Project <br /> Review Procedures Ordinance are removed from the Zoning Code; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council finds: <br /> 1. The amendment is consistent with the applicable provisions of the Everett general <br /> plan; and <br /> 2. The amendment bears a substantial relation to public health, safety or welfare; <br /> and <br /> 3. The amendment promotes the best long term interests of the Everett community; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: That Chapter 42 of Ordinance No. 1671-89 as amended by Ordinance No. <br /> 1788-91, 1838-91 and Ordinance No. 2012-94 (EMC 19.42) which reads as follows: <br /> EMC 19.42.010 User guide. <br /> Various places in this title require a particular review process for a specific use, <br /> development or activity.
