/ i ORDINANCE NO. 2538-01 An Ordinance amending the Zoning Code to 7'r Make Textual changes to provide consistency with the City's Local Project Review Procedures Ordinance, amending Ordinance No. 1671-89 as amended, Ordinance No's. 1838-91, 1847-92, 2111-95 and 2170-96 (Title 19 EMC) WHEREAS, the City adopted interim permit review processes for land use permits through the adoption of Ordinance No. 2136-96; and WHEREAS, through the adoption of the City's Local Project Review Procedures Ordinance, the City has incorporated the interim regulations into the Local Project Review Procedures Ordinance which is intended to be a master procedural ordinance for land use applications within the City; and WHEREAS, it is the intent of this ordinance to make the necessary revisions to the Zoning Code so that it is consistent with the provisions of the City's Local Project Review Procedures Ordinance; and WHEREAS,the City Council finds: 1. The amendment is consistent with the applicable provisions of the Everett general plan; and 2. The amendment bears a substantial relation to public health, safety or welfare; and 3. The amendment promotes the best long term interests of the Everett community; NOW, THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: SECTION 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1847-92 as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1864-92, Sections 1 & 2 of Ordinance No. 1978-93, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2076-95, Section 1(A) of Ordinance No. 2106-95, Section 2(A) of Ordinance No. 2111-95, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2290-98 and Sections 12-34 of Ordinance No. 2397-99 (EMC 19.04.020)which reads in part as follows: "Review process"means the procedure listed in Chapter 42 of this title by which a specific use shall be evaluated before a determination is made concerning the issuance of an approval, a license or permit. BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: •"Review process"means the procedure listed in the City's Local Project Review Procedures Ordinance by which a specific use shall be evaluated before a determination is made concerning the issuance of an approval, a license or permit.
