J T y Alotimema ORDINANCE NO. 2559-01 AN ORDINANCE relating to the Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area (BIA), also referred to as the Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area, approving the year 2002 budget and Levying Annual Special Assessments upon Buildings and other Real Property(and owners thereof) for collection during the year 2002. WHEREAS, The City of Everett City Council, with the passage of Ordinance No. 2097-95, established a Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area(BIA); and WHEREAS, the City of Everett City Council approved a 1996, 1997, 1998,1999, 2000 and 2001 budget for expenditures for the BIA; and WHEREAS, the Downtown Everett Association has proposed a year 2002 annual budget for the BIA; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett City Council finds that the proposed year 2002 annual budget is necessary and appropriate in order to meet the objectives and purposes for which the BIA was formed. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section l: The year 2002 annual budget and proposed activities of the Downtown Everett Business Improvement Area, attached and made a part of this ordinance as Attachment A, are hereby approved, and the year 2002 annual special assessment, attached and made a part of this ordinance as Attachment B, is hereby approved, assessed, levied and shall be collected as set fo P,/therein according to Ordinance No. 2097-95 and state law. „ail/#114d EDW e ' P D.
