r ORDINANCE NO. 2569-02 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, "41" Street Overcrossing", Fund 303, Program 037,to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance No. 2485-00. WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to an improvement project for the development of an overpass of the BNSF mainline tracks in the vicinity of 41" Street as a part of the Transportation Improvement Program; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett has received approval for a State Grant, Public Works Trust Fund Loan and Federal funds for this improvement project; and NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 037, entitled "41S` Street Overcrossing" to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance No. 2485-00. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, Program 037, for design and construction of the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director", under direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of $ 16,494,986.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 037, "41" Street Overcrossing" as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Design and ROW $ 4,447,937 Construction $ 12,047,049 Total Estimated Cost $ 16,494,986
