June 29, 2016 <br /> Considerable discussion ensued regarding the agenda for a General <br /> Government Subcommittee meeting scheduled for July 13, 2016, the <br /> required minimum number of the council meetings per year, logistics and <br /> rules for cancelling a council meeting, estimated cost for placement of an <br /> item on the ballot, a possible timeline adjustment for the Charter Review <br /> Committee's work in the future, and diversity within the City's boards and <br /> commissions. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member <br /> Franklin, to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No. 7000 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $1,374,072.07 for the period of June 11, 2016, through June 17, 2016. <br /> RESOLUTION — PAYROLL <br /> To adopt Resolution No. 7001 acknowledging payment of audited <br /> and approved payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount <br /> of $3,798,371.70 for the period ending June 11, 2016. <br /> STREET CLOSURE — BLOCK PARTY <br /> To authorize the closure of a portion of Ridgemont Drive, on July 9, <br /> 2016, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., for a block party sponsored by Ridgemont <br /> Drive neighborhood. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Member Bader who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 212 <br />
