1 of the Standard Specifications and are made a part of this Contract; provided, however, <br /> 2 that if any of the provisions of FHWA 1273, as amended, are less restrictive than <br /> 3 Washington State Law, then the Washington State Law shall prevail. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 The provisions of FHWA 1273, as amended, included in this Contract require that the <br /> 6 Contractor insert the FHWA 1273 and amendments thereto in each Subcontract, <br /> 7 together with the wage rates which are part of the FHWA 1273, as amended. Also, a <br /> 8 clause shall be included in each Subcontract requiring the Subcontractors to insert the <br /> 9 FHWA 1273 and amendments thereto in any lower tier Subcontracts, together with the <br /> 10 wage rates. The Contractor shall also ensure that this section, REQUIRED FEDERAL <br /> 11 AID PROVISIONS, is inserted in each Subcontract for Subcontractors and lower tier <br /> 12 Subcontractors.
